What should I eat during my cleanse?

We recommend light meals with healthy, fresh foods that are easy to digest.

Eating lots of organic, raw vegetables and fruit that are high in fiber are important for overall colon health, but especially important during a cleanse. They also contain vitamins, minerals and enzymes which are necessary for a healthy body. Small amounts of lean meats such as fish or chicken, raw nuts and seeds, and beans or lentils are the best choices for protein requirements. Reduce dairy, and increase foods with good fats (like nuts, seeds, avocados, olive oil etc).

Since you are detoxifying, it is important to stay away from all junk foods, fast food, fried foods and microwave (frozen) meals. These all tend to collect inside and slow down your digestive system. Avoid refined sugar and try to eliminate all foods made from white flour, such as bread and pastas.

Be sure to drink lots of purified water throughout the day, and not coffee or sodas. You need at least 64oz. of water daily.
